An ExtraSpaceCares initiative
What a year 2020 has been proving to be. The recent global pandemic, COVID-19, has completely changed the landscape of life, as we have known it to be. Social norms such as shaking of hands and embracing one another is now frowned upon. Lockdowns have been implemented in many countries, causing economies to come to a grinding halt.
The Singapore government has also stated that the impacts of COVID-19 might last for a year or more, affecting individuals and businesses. In unprecedented times such as these, it is even more crucial for us to practice kindness and be compassionate towards one another.

In April 2020, Extra Space Asia collaborated with Latteria Mozzarella Bar, a local Italian restaurant that offers traditional Italian cuisine, and Food from The Heart, an independent non-profit organisation, to provide 200 heart-warming lunch boxes daily to Sunlove Abode for Intellectually Infirmed for a period of 2 months. To date, we have contributed over 10,750 meals and 2,900 homemade cookies for our friends from Sunlove Abode.
Sunlove Abode is a charity home for the intellectually-disabled – an organisation that is committed to providing care for the less fortunate regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or social status.
Through this two-month long initiative, Extra Space Asia hopes to lend a helping hand to support local businesses and at the same time, to do what little we can for our friends at Sunlove Abode.
#SGUnited, together we can overcome!
