The following day, a chagce of fortune was granted and the table turned in favour to both parties. Therefore, I must give Extra Space Ang Mo Kio a FIVE star review immediately.Tue 20th August 2024:BEWARE OF SCAM!Read the contract agreement very carefully and ask lots of questions before you make any payment.In the contract agreement, there is no mentioned of amendments, reschedule or cancellation.Therfore, once signed and payment is made, there is no way you get back your money except your deposit.So, do your homework and do not be a victim of such scrupulous scheme.As for me, I am forced to bring our dispute to CASE. I am not hopeful my appeal to Extra Space Ang Mo Kio is successful after writing and speaking face-to-face with them.What an event!Updated on Wed 21st August 2024:The management from Extra Space Ang Mo Kio called this afternoon and announced that they have conceded to my request to the reschedule of our contract agreement.The facility manager called and mentioned that the management has agreed to our appeal and allow us to change the move in date.I am so elated and feel a sense of relief 😮💨.Thank you Extra Space Ang Mo Kio for being accommodating and helping your customer to resolve a dispute that does not need to be there in the first place.Now that everything is well and put right, I must do the right thing:1) revert my review rating to 5 stars.2) retrack my dispute submission to CASE and inform them we have resolved the issue amicably between both parties. No action need to be taken3) I have written to Extra Space Ang Mo Kio to thank the facility manager Wee Teng for her her intervention in this dispute and reverting their decision and allowing a reschedule date to take effect immediately.Sigh. Having moved to and from Singapore in the past years, I use ExtraSpace to store spillover personal effects for the family. The facility in AMK is geared towards personal storage and less for commercial use. Unlike Ubi, it does not have truck lifts and a proper loading bay. However, if you transport small household items, you can reverse park your car into the cargo lift and unload from there directly to trolleys. It’s usually busy at night around midnight for individuals. The back area is used by a commercial entity as their warehouse. Large trucks roll in during the day. The facility is clean, security is very good, staff is extremely friendly and prices are reasonable, compared to other personal storage. I would recommend it for personal storage or small businesses.

Given the large quantity of items, the far distance from the city center, and uncertain timing, it wasn't convenient to trouble friends either.Therefore, I contacted the person in charge, Mr. Derek, who was very enthusiastic in helping. He first secured a unit for me, then proceeded with remote video verification and signing the e-contract. On the move-in day, he assisted in supervising and directing the relocation, bought a locker for me, set up the password, and got everything done.Throughout this period, I was entirely overseas. Derek's integrity and responsibility made this whole process possible. I trust and am very grateful to him.This storage facility is located near Changi Airport in Singapore and features a specialized design for storing items like red wine, perfume, souvenirs, figurines, and more. The process was swift and easy, with top notch efficiency again from Extra Space. Andy was very helpful, and his services were professional and efficient. Although I needed an extra day at the storage, the process was hassle-free and the arrangements were done within a few minutes.Overall, I’m so glad to have stumbled upon Extra Space, and they have been extremely helpful and supportive.
